Hi! Welcome to Simply Mom, a place were you can find a fellow mother balancing the everyday up's and downs of motherhood.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am the mother to my wonderful daughter, Emilie, who was born a little over a year ago. Motherhood has been a life changing experience, to say the least. As a first-time-mom I had zero expectations about how I would feel as a mother, parent my child, or find the balance between mom and wife. My husband and I had little to no experience with babies, so needless to say we were the extreme novice parents. When Emilie came, I felt we both fit into the role of parents quite naturally. Over the past year I have learned that so much about myself and while we all have different views on parenting, the one thing we have in common is that we are parents.
Simply Mom was born as a way to give me a creative outlet for my thoughts, advice, and musings on motherhood. I want this to be a place for you to come and see that as mother's we often are all going through similar things and have similar feelings. Too often, we are judged by other mom's just because they do something different. In the end, we are all Simply Mom!
